Divers Rescue Skills & Scenario Management

BSAC Diving First Aid Courses Scuba Diving Center Scuba Diving Training Shore Diving

Just completed an awesome weekend of Rescue Skills Training. First day we based out of Porthgain Harbor, in poor visibility where we practiced and reviewed rescue skills, and managed scenarios. The second day we went to Abereiddy Blus Lagoon where we could get 20mtrs in the sea in excellent conditions allowing us to ensure that all skills were carried out to standards.
We trained hard over two days, and the reason for this is that if the training was needed in real life situations we would respond instinctively to do the best that we can in these situations to help preserve life and prevent conditions worsening.
Awesome effort by Black Country Divers members Dan Higgins, Mark Hampson and Jonathan Flood. All of whom achieved the practical sessions of their BSAC Advanced Diver and in some cases completed their AD qualification in full.
Many thanks to Martin Webb for being my assisting instructor, also to Laura Chisholm & Sarah Cross for being causalities, safety cover and crowd control.
