This last week I’ve been up in Scotland working off the Island of Colonsay. Initially I took the boat from Kyle of Lochalsh to Crinan for a 4am pickup and then through the Corriewrecken and onto Colonsay.
Once on site we spent Tuesday setting up dives and fighting poor weather and high winds. Sadly the day got aborted at lunchtime. The following day we were on site by 5am, everything was sorted and as the sun came up at 645am, we were in the water. 13 dives between the two divers and our work for the day was done. The weather started to blow in as we set off on the 4hr steam to Crinan.
Sadly overnight the weather blew in and the rest of the week was blown out, so I headed back to Wales for some local commercial diving this coming weekend. However an overall good week on the West Coast was had despite the weather.
