Joshua and I have just got home from an amazing weekend of diving off St Davids in West Wales. The weather has been spectacular. Three days of great diving, a few issues with the Rib – but thats ribs, a few issues with the kit, but thats kit, a couple of BBQs, a few beers, great company, minimum of six dives plus some lessons, Lee McKie today completed his BSAC Advanced Diver award – excellent achievement, Amy McKie made a good dent in her BSAC Advanced Diver, Daniel Atter has completed his BSAC Dive Leader (minus one 25mtr + dive) so threw in a few rescue scenarios requiring tows, retrieving onto a RIB, CPR on the RIb and everything to do with managing the scenario – worked very well. The first dive of the day was on the wreck of the Portland and lots of amazing life, colors and scattered wreckage to explore. The afternoon dive was on the allusive wreck of the pilgrim followed by a drift. Joshua was an excellent skipper, driving the boat confidently and also managing two very safe pickups of divers. Many thanks to Stephen Howells for dive leading over the weekend. All in all a fantastic weekend had by all.
